Cliffside is the first of 15 individual landscapes envisioned for the Arboretum at Fort Williams Park. The plan includes a grassy amphitheater and stone stage, Casco Bay overlooks, exposed outcrops, sitting areas, stone walls, and the preservation of native trees. The design reverses the damage done by invasive species while creating dramatic views and a variety of interesting spaces. The Cliffside site is designed to demonstrate the use of native plantings and sustainable landscaping in a highly exposed oceanfront setting. Designed in collaboration with Bruce John Riddell, Landscape Architect.
