TJD&A, a leading landscape architecture and planning firm in Yarmouth, Maine, is on the hunt for a Landscape Architect with 5-7 years of experience to expand our team of professionals.
We are looking for a landscape architect excited about working in a small office environment with a wide variety of projects and opportunities for personal growth. Our team is made up of designers and story tellers, and we want to bring on a professional with a strong skill set to join our studio. This new team member will be responsible for developing design concepts, project management, staff development, and client relationships.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- An accredited degree in Landscape Architecture.
- 5-7 years of professional experience; licensure is a plus.
- Project management and/or design lead experience for small and large-scale projects.
- Excellent visual communication skills.
- Proficiency with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)
- Fluency in computer drafting and modeling software (CAD or Vectorworks; SketchUp or 3DS Max). Experience with ESRI GIS is a plus.
Our studio provides a collegial, supportive, and fun work environment. Team members occasionally travel for fieldwork with overnight stays, as well as participate in evening meetings.
TJD&A projects range from large-scale planning assignments to detailed site design.
